One would think that using a natural product like cork, which comes from cork trees, would be a strain on the environment and that using metal screw tops or synthetic corks that don’t come from trees would be a good thing. However, a recent article sighted in this week’s Word on Wine reveals that cork forests provide a fabulous environment for all kinds of wildlife.
