Baltimore Choral Arts – From Madrigals to Musicals
This week Tom Hall leads the Choral Arts Society in a program spanning the poetic choral repertoire, from the 16th century to works of Durufle and Lauridsen, and leading to selections from the iconic musicals of Leonard Bernsteinand Rogers and Hammerstein. Internationally-renowned soprano Janice Chandler-Eteme joins Tom and the Chorus for this exciting performance. This concert was recorded at the Towson United Methodist Church Sunday March 9, 2014.

I loved the program, I particularly was mesmeized by the soprano, alto duet but I missed hearing what it was from. I know that I’ve heard it before but cannot identify who composed it or when/where I heard it and I want to hear it again. It was before the break, after which Rogers & Hammerstein music was featured…….help!
