This week I am broadcasting Jonathan Leshnoff’s Oratorio Zohar! (He’s on the left!) It’s a new recording featuring the Atlanta Symphony & Chorus and Robert Spano. I had a really nice chat with Jonathan Leshnoff a few weeks ago and here is the second part.
After that we aired a new recording featuring the Baltimore Symphony of Bernstein’s Second Symphony.
We used some recordings featuring BSO musicians for fill.

I loved Zohar by Jonathan Leshnoff! Came late to the program and thought it might be Britten w/ Peter Pears, but then clearly it was different.
What company recorded it? Where might I buy it and for how much?
I assume it’s on CD.

Loved Zohar! If it’s on CD or tape, where can I but it and for how much?
Also read today in the journal Image that Arvo Part, who performs Orthodox (Greek, I think, tho perhaps Jewish (I think the former?) is now or soon having his works performed by a special choir from Oregon or Washington.
