Welcome to the new and most excellent WBJC web playlist! After endless hours of meetings and discussion it is finally up and running! I personally think it’s fabulous, but there has been some concern from a few listeners/members regarding the new format.
It is indeed true that you now have to do two extra clicks to obtain the full listings that were available at the front of the site before. This is our sneaky way of getting you to look at our fabulous new site! Unlike the previous site which had very little content we are determined that the new WBJC web site will have lots of interesting stuff! So stick around and enjoy it!
Some people have remarked that we are no longer publishing future web listings of pieces. This is indeed correct! The reason being that according to our agreement with Sound Exchange, which facilitates WBJC being allowed to stream our station free of charge, we are not allowed to publish advance listings. There is some disagreement over the legality of posting advance listings and WBJC wishes to err on the side of caution. We are still trying to figure out a proper solution to this problem and hope to figure out something that will satisfy those of you who want advance listings sometime down the road. Please bear in mind that the site has only been up for a few days.

Land o’ Goshen. This week’s Face the Music actually featured four pieces that everyone liked! Some people have the idea that we love to find fault with things…nothing could be further from the truth. Our panel, John Bowen, Kati Harrison and Dave Donovan all left the studio feeling great. I am pretty sure no substances were involved and that it was the music that was responsible.
